“Simple, real, and something I actually wanted to make again.”
I wanted something sweet… but that actually supported my body
Not another snack that left me wanting more 20 minutes later.
Not something that worked against everything I’m trying to build.
So I decided to test something in real life —
a high-protein, frozen yogurt bite that could satisfy a craving and support my goals.
What I Made

“Nothing fancy… just ingredients that work together.”
For this first batch, I kept it simple:
- Greek yogurt
- Protein powder
- Collagen Gelatin
- Fresh berries
- Dates for natural sweetness
- A little cinnamon
I blended the dates and fruit separately, mixed everything into a thick base, folded in the date & berry mixture, and froze them in a silicone mold.
What Worked (Really Well)

“This was the moment I knew… I’d be making these again.”
Honestly… a lot.
✔ They held their shape perfectly
✔ The texture came out creamy — not icy
✔ They felt like a real treat
✔ They were easy to portion
But the biggest thing?
I had two… and I wasn’t hungry.
That matters.
Because that’s the difference between a snack and something that actually supports your day.
What I’d Change Next Time
This is where it gets interesting — and where the learning happens.
For me, the flavor leaned more toward yogurt + protein than I wanted.
So next round, I’ll be adjusting:
- Slightly less yogurt and protein powder
- More berry-forward flavor
- Increasing collagen + adding more nutrient-dense elements like Youth Factor
- Playing with frozen vs. refrigerated texture
This is the part I actually enjoy —
testing, adjusting, and finding what works in real life, not just on paper.
Why This Matters (Beyond the Recipe)
This isn’t just about making a snack.
It’s about creating options that make better choices easier.
Instead of removing the sweet…
I’m redesigning it.
Something that:
- satisfies the craving
- supports satiety
- works with my goals instead of against them
What I Used (and Why)
These are the pieces that made the biggest difference for me:
- A good quality protein powder like NEORA Fit Protein Powder (for structure + satiety)
- Collagen gelatin like Great Lakes Gelatin (for texture, structure, and added protein support)
- Silicone molds (for portion control and ease)
- A high-speed blender (to smooth the dates perfectly)
- I’ll link everything I used below so you can see exactly what worked for me.
Shop What I Used
NEORA Fit Protein Powder (Very High Quality Vegan Protein Powder— message me for the link)
Great Lakes Gelatin (unflavored Protein additive)
Silicone Fluted Mini Mold (this is what gives them that beautiful shape and makes them easy to pop out 1/2″ daisy)
Lemon Slice mold (this gives a larger piece 2″ Lemon Slice)
Ninja Blast Portable Blender (great for convenience and everyday shakes)
NutriBullet 900 series (better for blending dates and frozen fruit smoothly)
Vitamix Blender (what I personally use for a more powerful blend — great for smoothies, desserts, and even hot soups)
These are the exact types of products that made this recipe
Final Thoughts
This was my first attempt… and honestly, I’ll be making these again.”
Not perfect — but real, repeatable, and effective.
And that’s what I care about.
Because I’m not here to create perfect recipes…
I’m here to find what actually works — and share it as I go.
